I'm taking the piss out of my own username. :colondollar:

I thought so... no excuse though! :grumble:
So when's the wedding?
Original post by im so academic
It is a compliment!

But you have to prove it now. :teeth:

Well, I guess I must not be then, because I don't know how I'd prove it.

Can't think of many words that rhyme with "academic" to go in this sonnet...

No offense intended.

You can ask this again AFTER I've took you up the wrong'un...:colondollar:

I buy gifts randomly. Keep myself clean and trimmed. Spend **** loads of money on anniversarys, buy flowers and get them sent to the missus' place of work, if that isn't romantic I don't know what is.

this.

'Darcy' sure is ignoring an entire thread based around him. If he is a big enough love/romance guru to persuade ISA, I think all of TSR should get to see what he's like/if he measures up. :colonhash:

Here he is - http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/member.php?u=681588

Awh why thank you Shanti. I am no one special however. There are many men here that do believe in romance just as much as myself.

ISA be quiet. Just a few weeks ago you were using my smooth, Irish accent for your sick, twisted pleasure.

You disgust me.

When King's College Chapel is available. :p:

Simple question, and I'm asking this just to compare male and female responses.

My opinion: honestly, yes. Asked me that question only a few days ago and I would deny it like hell. But really, you just never know, and I got pleasantly surprised that not all men are lustful pricks. Some, but not all. :h:

Life does have many surprises. :moon:

Buying stuff =/= romantic.

Oh my God, I remember that.

Excuse me for one second...

I just had to delete those PMs. ****.

Okay, whatever. You have fun with romance! You seem slightly excessive, if you don't mind me saying so. Well, now it's been proved that you exist - I'm going to stop hanging round this thread. I wish you and isa every happiness, and expect an invite to the wedding.

I'm not sure they rent it out to just anyone. You'll have to get in at least first!

You're planning to "marry" a guy you haven't even met?

...how old are you?

You'll only be disappointed, and it is exam month! TSR is procrastination enough, nevermind writing a sonnet to someone who is already in a relationship of sorts.

Excuse me for interjecting.

I am akin to a blunt instrument, a brick if you will, and I am here to smash up this thread like fine China.

Can somebody explain to me, why when ISA asks about Romantic men, some individuals immediately jump on the wagon and attempt to prove it? I mean really, surely the definition of Romance entails Love? And Love can't necessarily be proven, not least to somebody who you don't have feelings for.
So please, those few who have gone to spurious lengths to 'show' how romantic you are, take a bit of advice; True Romance is effortless, you do it because you care, not because you want to make a point.

ISA, we are happy for you. However, it is really something that concerns you and your love interest, not the rest of TSR.

EDIT : Reposted because it didn't achieve the intended effect.
