hello:angry:
forensic science topic 6 unit 4

you should really start revising.

This is AQA! And we don't have forensic science!

I plant to start revision today..... :teehee:
Does anybody have any practice questions? Other than the Nelson Thornes exam style ones and past papers on the AQA website? I'm really struggling to find anything else!

The maximum rate of growth is where the graph is at its steepest
Divide the change in mass (Y axis) by the time taken (X axis) to find the rate (but make sure the points you pick for the change in mass are in the steepest part of the graph otherwise it isn't maximum rate growth!)
So say between 100mg and 200mg, the time taken for this growth is 2.5 days
So the change in mass (100) divided by time taken (2.5) = 40
Hope that makes sense!

Thank you for that and yeah makes complete sense. I was worried about being able to identify the steepest part but the whole line increases by 2.5 days so fairly straightforward.
Thanks again!

absolute lad...
How is everyone feeling about the exam? It's all ok except for remembering the cycles.

:-) alot more confident for this unit then i was in january! :] FINALLY undestand/memorized the process of respiration and photosynethsis which i didnt have a clue about last time! (even though it didnt really come up last time so i was lucky)

but yeah, im hoping they come up - and not in complicated how science works questions. If they just asked it simply i'd get like 100%, but you know how AQA are..... hahahaha
