You don't bother reading about the financial markets whose success or failure:

a) Carries with them the success or otherwise of your political creed; and

b) Determines the value of your pension and the cost of your mortgage.

I think most of the general public are fine with it, but I don't think the Conservative party want to be stuck with the blame of breaking up the United Kingdom.

Since the conservatives are pretty much a constant and it's the people of England that voted them in, it's fair to say that, given that people know what the conservatives want then if they then vote for them then the general public are responsible. You can't just shrug off your responsibility onto the Conservatives. People know what they are like and they still voted for them. You reap what you sow.

And, if the general public are fine with it then why don't they say so? Have they lost their voice?

I see the OP has cited the Daily Heil. A newspaper that praised Hitler and who viciously attacked Ralph Miliband (father of David and Ed), a man who fought for Britain against the Nazis after fleeing from persecution in Belgium.

As a centre-right person who criticises both those on the left and those on the right - it's been my experience that those on the left are much more willing to engage in debate than those on the right. The only person who has told on TSR me to go **** myself and called me a ****ing **** has been a UKIP supporter

What? People voted for the Conservatives because they didn't want an SNP backed Labour government which many people believe would be worse for the UK than a Tory government. The independence is a seperate issue, they had one referendum and said no to leaving.

Did "people" vote for that? I mean, about 25% of people voted for the conservatives. It's not exactly a landslide of a mandate

I abhor the kind of angry, tribal politics we see on both sides (I consider myself a Burkean socialist, if that makes any sense). Why do people have to be so sweary and personally abusive these days?

Again I will ask, name me the benefits to multiculturalism? Here are the disadvantages:

-Child marriages
-Honour killings
-Replacing British culture
