It depends on the board and qualification. Sometimes they give you a mark for each module, sometimes they give a combined mark and sometimes they don't give you a mark and just give you a grade.

I only have one GCSE from WJEC and that was a few years ago so they might have changed their policies, but they gave a grade and UMS mark for each module.

i'd prefer it to be one grade, too many data just makes it seem so pointless
