As for why, well, I believe it's partly social stigma, and partly because humans are programmed to want to have families/reproduce I guess.

I've seen so many people become sad and depressed because they don't have a boyfriend, girlfriend, husband etc. I just don't understand why.

Every time I tell someone that I don't want to get married or have kids and I wouldn't mind living alone with my cats (would've been dogs but I'm way to lazy to walk them) they always think I'm mental or they say that I'd just be wasting my life.

I don't get it. Why's everyone so scared of being alone?

It's easier to depend on someone else. Quite frankly, you could be in a relationship and be more miserable than you ever could be if you were alone. I commend you for your decision, show them how wrong they are!

I wouldn't mind dying alone either. I have never been attracted to anyone or ever felt the need of romantic affection. This works in my favour since i'm ugly af
