wow. you were named after a bratz doll...
Yep, although I prefer how my name sounds in my native language more than it does in English.

Weirdly enough, exactly this. What's your native language?
Not really. Too old fashioned

Spanish. I suppose from your username that yours is French?

Sasha was the way forward
I used to be so obsessed with names it actually used to be a 'hobby' of mine, I'd read through all these name books and what the names meant and stuff, but finally realised that your personality and character make your name, your name doesn't make you.

I probably had some pattern/sequence OCD so I shortened my name (so that it was 6 letters like my surname) and nobody bothered correcting me. So I'll change it back... soon

Otherwise my surname is apparently the best surname evaar

I love my name! I have was named after family members though. It's very unique as it's an old name though. Never met anyone else with my name.

My brother has unfortunate initials. GGF. Think about it.

As far as I know, the origin of the name is ancient Hebrew (Old Testament) but the variant I use is medieval (Byzantine). It is a very common name in Continental Europe-- it is really common in Spain (Galicia) for example.
