I'm afraid that best is really subjective. Best depends on what is best for you- which uni offers the modules you want, has the facilities that appeal to you and is in a location that you'd want to live in for 3 years and has connections with the uni's your most interested in going to for the year abroad.

Go to www.whatuni.com.

Enter American Studies as a subject and then your predicted grades.
This will give you a list of possible Unis - then check the course description on each Uni website to see if its the course that interests you. UEA, Sussex, Keele, Manchester all have well-established degree courses in this area.
