did u ever publish a novel/book/poetry?

Hey, just bumped into your post! I do love writing myself, but I have never published - haven't had the time yet, or the opportunity for that matter. Plus I am not even sure my writing is good enough :wink:

But I'd be really interested in knowing how other people have, so I will definitely keep an eye on this topic :wink:

As I am, just in search for any publisher - well as newbie in the topic, as I consider myself it is not that easy to find sonething, there are a lot of different opportunities and what to do newxt, like aso who corrects my texts, what about a layout and a cover? A lot of things to accomplish, that are not quite easy I think.

Self publishing is easier. If you want to get published by a publisher, you could have a long hard slog on your hands.

Actually I've decided to look into traditional publishing options for The Force of the Gods, on the basis of 'well I've got to try, at least.' I have a feeling that it could do well if I just find the right publisher, and I've got nothing if not time on my hands :h:

How is the Wolf Born series faring these days, PMP?

Therefore, my advice is - participate in contests, see where it takes you. It's always a whole load of fun as well. And practice, like as much as you can.

Good good. Got just under 1,700 followers on fb now. Gonna be a special guest again at Sheffield Arena in June for Yorkshire Cosplay Con 9. Got a prequel due out in the next few weeks.

Freelove, I really don't know much about this myself, but if you wanted to go with a publishing house I have heard of one called Novum publishing. Apparently they have a lot of young authors / first books. However I cannot comment on self-publishing, how hard or easy that is, I can just imagine it must be nice for someone to "old your hand" for your first book.
I didn't know you could be chosen in your class to publish a book! That's so cool. If only that had happened to me :smile:

but I guess I chose the wrong specialisation for that.

Publishing through contests may be quite good, never done that before, but also depends on which genre, are there a lot of contests and of course u do not always win! :-)

Just because I was researching on publishing houses for young writers, and found an article about them online. They seem to have published an Austrian writer who became very famous subsequently, so that tickled my interest. I am afraid I am not an expert on the matter myself - has anyone else heard about this company or has any experience they care to share?

A good friendof my family published his novel a year ago with the help of Novum! Before hepublished his book, he was an unknown author and has never wrote or publishedanything before.
