MEU Parties
So, we can see all the different sub sections at the top of this forum, for each different party within the MEU.
We will get a thread in each forum, basically showing what each party stands for- showing their allegiances, but if you want to be on the ball- you can google them and get into the parties now.
It would be our idea in the future that we would get each of those sub party sections to be private; to ensure private discussions can take place, like the parties in the MHOC.
Please feel free to post below what party you are thinking, or just to discuss it- or go ahead and post in the relevant forum above if you know where your allegiances lie

Probably the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats, even if I'd rather get rid of the word 'Democrats' from that.
The European Free part of the European Free and Green Alliance.
The Greens–European Free Alliance- the Greens bit of it. There are 3 Green MEPs

*direct democracy. I'm not a huge fan of direct democracy, I don't hate it either though. Whichever is more popular really, us right wingers should unite.

I Argee , however if we should stay in europe ( which we should'nt ) it needs to be more democratic .
theres also the europe of nations and freedom

The main issue I have with direct democracy is that if, like California, you have laws which mean referendums can occur due to petitions you end up with a problem.
For example, look at some popular petitions, imagine (and this has happened in the us) if the 'stop all immigrants' one passed and the 'accept more refugees' also passed a referendum, you see the issue.
However in the EUSSR, you might be right, we need more democracy.

Why do you think the EU is undemocratic? I can see other arguments for leaving, but lack of democratic values isn't a strong one IMO.

I See your point but i mean Europe as a whole needs to be more democratic and we leave the EU gving the UK Direct demoracy . i think our 2 groups can work together on some issues

Yeah they are rather similar, in real life the right as a whole is more united than the left, which has so many branches. It will probably be the same with the MEU (it is the case in the MHoC tbh)
