A Level Choice Help
I have been asked by my school to pick my A-Levels and I am not sure on what to do. I am thinking about doing one of these 3 combo's.
1) Biology, Chemistry and Maths
2) History, Math and Economics
3)Biology, Economics and Psychology

You should be finding what you may be interested in the future, we can't tell you what you may like.

Physics goes well with maths.

Yeah you would. You don't need english its helpful to have history or english but you have history so..
Out of those options if I had to choose I would choose the 2nd one. But thats me as im not into the sciences. If you want to do medicine however then the first one. Law the 2nd one.

Law has no subject requirements, you'd be fine with those subjects if that's what you want to do.

Hi, I helped someone with a similar question and I literally wrote an essay so I'll try to keep it short for you :P Firstly don't you pick 4 a-levels ? and then drop one at the end of your first year of a-levels. Anyway I think you need to focus a little more about a future job or field. It doesn't have to be specific and you can change your mind any time but have like specific fields/areas you want and then pick a-level subjects that will either keep your options open in those fields or pick subjects that mostly apply to your favourite area so even if you change your mind about a course or job but it is in a similar field you should be ok. Theres an app called bestcourse4me it shows you what university degrees people do after their a-level choices and it has other information too. So yeah pick 4 alevels and but you are right to mainly focus on 3, I did. But yeah you just need to do research on fields and also maybe look at topic lists etc of things you do in your chosen a-levels to help you make your final decision its all about the research :P If I were you I would choose the first choice because I chose mostly science subjects ( I chose physics, chemistry , math , graphics) . Ps arty subjects like graphics take so much time
lol . But yeah I want go into something sciency so my subjects should be ok I wanted to do product design too , to keep my technology field open but unfortunately my school stopped that a-level . Anyway I think you should choose Maths, Bio, Chemistry and Economics or swap a science for physics, I think you might enjoy it. I do love history too though LOOL but I didnt choose that. Anyway I had more to say but yeah I think im just gassing now LOOL but yeah research is important and choose the subjects you enjoy because you will have a massive workload in AS levels and its hard to cope. For Law you don't need any specific subjects. I want to do Law at university and I'm taking Maths, Further Maths, Physics, RS and History so you can really have a combination lol
I think for Law they're looking more for the skills you learn during your A Levels rather than what subject knowledge you have.
History - analytical skills and loooong essay practice, as well as research and further reading.
Economics - again analytical and looking at current affairs/the economy, which if you choose to specialise way later down the line some background knowledge can be helpful.
Maths - the way you think in maths is different than any other subject, and the fact that you have to do 6 modules in the 2 years (on Edexcel at least) and know different kinds of maths can be really useful.
