Sheffield Hallam is okay lol Not sure about 'proud'
Then again, I don't see why anyone would be that proud of being part of a university. To a large extent sounds like glory via association, akin to supporting a football team.
Regardless of how amazing or poor the university, it doesn't necessarily suggest a great deal about success at the individual level. Seems more indicative of social class and parental education, rather than anything.
See you there next year bud. I'll answer your PM soon, I've been swamped lately.

But seriously, the uni has been around for 50 ish years and has been ranked top 10 for almost half of that time - i.e. for the number of years rankings have been around. The Maths/CS departments there are fantastic and top employers literally flood the campus looking for talent. What's not to love?

I'm not proud but i don't really have a problem with it either.
I don't feel like I have enough work to do compared to other places. It's a middle ranking uni and I feel like I'd have more to do and not be bored if I went to a better one. But hey, didn't do well enough in A level Biology to go to a better one. Wish I'd have chosen something else as I'd be in a better uni if I did. As long as I do a masters in a high ranking one I'll be alright + satisfied.
We're giving away £500 STA Travel vouchers or a Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphone so it's worth sharing your opinion with us (we can only accept responses from over 18s who are currently at uni though )

Gonna be going to Brum, it's supposedly a good place to live (university-wise) and it is ranked pretty high so I suppose I'll be "proud" of it. I have thought about adjusting if I get higher than AAB to Bath or UCL, but London is expensive and I don't know whether I'd like living at Bath so I will most likely just stick to Brum
Hi,
I am a first year International Management student here at the University of Bath. If you have any questions about living in Bath please let us know! Here is a general summary of life in Bath that I would recommend reading.
yeah pretty proud, it definitely hasnt held me back so far in applying to law related events and is quite a good uni and a member of the russel group. its no oxbridge but its well respected and has a solid pedigree in getting me a career in the field i want to go into, so in my eyes it is a worthwhile name to have on my CV
I'm pround of mine (RHUL) except the location (in a small town far from big ones: Egham) and geolocation (on a hill 17-24mins from the nearest station).

Where did that list of university names come from? It's pre 2012 at least?

I love RHUL, but the only thing I do not like about the university are the two things you have just mentioned - the town and that hill I don't really like the bus services so I walked up the hill once in July, I was sweating so much...

I also walk or cycle as the buses are never on time and not frequent enough.
