Why do A2 students revise that much

An a2 student an I revise 4 hours a day but I see others not revising much and socialising in free periods. I'm not retaking anything unlike my classmates but they still seem pretty blasé about exams.
They're probably in denial or don't want to acknowledge that the exams are actually going to happen whether they are prepared for them or not
4hrs a day isnt a lot...

There's a reason they are retaking... I doubt retakers are representative of general A2 students

But don't you think that retakers would make more of an effort knowing that they're disadvantaged

Some people are naturally more intelligent and/or absorb information a lot faster/more easily/in a different way. *shrugs* I can't remember doing much revision for my A levels either.
I probably don't even do 4 hours a day tbh
