Jeremy Corbyn: I never said we would write off student debt.

Given Osborne gave the UK it's largest debt increase of any chancellor outside of the world wars he could lecture McDonnell on Keynesian economics...

Learn what the definition of both the debt and the deficits are, your argument is false unless you want more austerity.

Right. How does that refute the fact that Venezuela is a capitalist country? It's akin to saying North Korea is a democratic state because it's officially known as the 'Democratic People's Republic of Korea'.

Every country is a capitalist country. The argument is whom controls the capital.

No. I'm expressing my disapproval.

Of what exactly?

Capitalist refers to 'free trade, investment and development' - none of which is occuring. Companies are being forcibly taken over by the state 'for the greater good'; borders are restricted 'for the greater good'; assets are being frozen 'for the greater good', id est, socialism.

The Labour party are a s h it joke.

They are, but the Tories aren't far off either. Theresa May's campaign was a joke too.

Even better, they could've read the Communist Manifesto.

The Labour Party is centrist you bloody idiot. You don't even know what Communism is. **** my life, people like you are allowed a vote.

The incumbent party is the United Socialist Part6y of Venezuela, with the Socialist leader of Nicolas Maduro, succeeding the famously-socialist Chavez.

Next you'll say the Democratic People's Republic of Korea is democratic cuz it's in the tile.

Learn what growth is.

Debt is mearely running a lot of concurrent deficits.

When are we due to be back in surplus? 2025? Absolute joke - you really believe the government is anti-deficit? Seven years+ of Tory government and the deficit is 30% higher than 2007. In 2007 Torys weren't again the Labour deficit.

Already answered this.

socialism.

Not when the wage-labour relationship is apparent. Not when privately-owned firms are apparent which are profit-seeking. Not when capital accumulation is apparent. As I've said, Venezuela is a capitalist country and you can only go so far as to say that it's adapted left-wing policy rather disastrously coupled with shite decisions from the top.

Oh, the current Labour Party are a complete and utter tragedy.

The manifesto lists the policies that the party wants to meet by the end of the parliament, If it is not in the manifesto then it was not voted upon. On the same coin, a verbal promise is equivalent to a manifesto promise. I agree with you with respect to your attack on Corbyn and that it fooled many individuals into believing that he would strip off their student debt obligation however, his vagueness upon his stance pre election makes the construct of the argument fundamentally weak.
I'm not sure that what you are saying is what you think you're saying. Are you suggesting that people who voted did it on the basis of a manifesto?

Lots of people knew who they would vote for before seeing manifestos and many voters won't have known what was in it anyway. I have an emotional sympathy for much of the labour manifesto but believed Corbyn to be manifestly unfit to be pm. The latter point impacted my vote but is not a comment on the manifesto
Don't see how the right wing, Tory media are getting away with pretending Corbyn has U turned on Uni Fees?

It's just wrong, it's pretty disgusting....

Absolute knob! I said during the general election that you couldn't trust Corbyn and I was right. The longer he talks ******** the longer the Conservatives are in power. How are the left wing idiots going to support their leader now?

You can't call 40% of the UK electorate who voted 'idiots'.

Also if you look at what he actually said, without the Conservative spin, he never committed to abolishing it. The student finance system is greatly unfair and needs reforming. Particularly things like interest. The old system was much more fair.

Although I agree with you. Corbyn and his followers had on several occassions referred to Venezuela as a great example of a socialist state that shared the wealth with its people and demonstrated how a country could be highly successful doing this.

That of course was when Oil was over $110 a barrel. Now that the bottom has fallen out they no longer talk about Venezuela as a socialist state and now claim it was really capitalist all along. I am sort of reminded of this graph:

Corbyn is.

Lol.

Corbyn is most certainly not a communist. Unless you have evidence of him proposing to abolish capital in its entirety...

The cap on tuition fees needs to be lifted. Let the market determine the rate. If you are hard working you will get a well paid job and have no problem paying the debt.

You should check out American debt

In the meantime we can stop following everything America does and look at some European countries where there is very little fees, or none at all, and a great support system. Because you know, we value education for our citizens.
