A flask, capacity 600cm3, was used to calculate the molar volume of sulphur dioxide.

The following data was obtained.

Mass of evacuated flask = 512.97g

Mass of flask+ sulphur dioxide = 514.57g

1) use the data given to find the mass of sulphur dioxide (hint: subtract the numbers)
2) use the mass you found in 1) and the relative mass of sulphur dioxide from periodic table to find the number of moles
3) plug the numbers into the formula for molar volume!!
