A Levels - To stay at school or go to college?

I'm really torn between going to sixth form at school or sixth form at college. Although at the minute I'm like 60% for college it may change. The a levels I plan on taking at school are health and social, English language, media and sociology. While the ones at college are sociology, English language, film studies and law. Also wondering which is most likely to be better for getting into uni?

If you find an idea of what you wish to d then you can work back and see what course / degree you need and work back again t see what A levels will do and what grades.

Your A levels need to be sufficient t get you onto your chosen course or as an alternative open as many courses up to you as possible plus be subjects you can get good grades in.

Which choices seemed confused? The college has subject pathways and all the subjects I've listed for it fit within the pathway. Not so sure about school :smile:

If you read the link I posted then you can maybe rethink what it is you want to do either t get you onto your chosen course or to give max options.

You arent taking any facilitating options or A levels that are viewed as being the strongest in academic terms. This could be quite restrictive on available courses for you.

Eng Lit, but that is your closest.

I used to think it was either but they state Eng lit. Cant see why if you are good at language then you cant do Lit.

Perhaps some careers research might help you make sense of everything else.

Honestly have no idea why I am so bad at lit but I just am 😂 That's what am about to do now, thanks for your help

A good rule of thumb is to have 2 facilitating subjects then a subject you think looks fun as your 3rd. Not saying to pick subjects you hate because they're deemed 'academic' - just food for thought :tongue:
