It's prevalent. All of my black friends prefer light-skin women.
Looks aren't that important to me though, personality and their goals in life are what I'm interested in.
E.g. if I'm talking to a woman and I ask her: what do you want to do in terms of career? Or what're your goals in the next 5 years? If she can't answer that or her answers are unclear then I'm turned off.
