Vote for Jeremy Corbyn he will give us free stuff

I'm sorry but why vote Corbyn? First and foremost the free broadband is direct access into everyone's lives, think about it, why else would they choose to give out free WiFi? Also, he wants to plant two billion trees which is physically impossible if labour are claiming to build a housing 'revolution', please also tell me why you would want someone to run in office as PM when yesterday he literally said Terrorists shouldn't serve a full sentence? He has called an Islamic Terror group 'a friend', supported IRA events and repeatedly failed to support the NI peace process, he accepted £20,000 to appear on an Iranian propaganda news channel, and 172 MP's in his own party claim they don't want him as Labour leader. He also has suggested a coalition with the SNP, that could lead to another Scottish referendum, which would mean them probably leaving the UK, meaning more conflict on Brexit as there would have to be more trade negotiations, overall leading to an unstable relationship with the EU. Also, he wants to reduce the regular army to reserves. This not only puts 80,000 soldiers out of jobs, but it means our army would be highly untrained, so we'd be screwed in any wars.

Jeremy Corbyn is delusional.

Its sad because as I had read recently, people label Corbyn as a very radical socialist when he promises what mainland European states normally offer in social provisions, welfare, education.

Why not have those things, it will help the UK advance economically if you think beyond regurgitated headlines.

the problem is that many of the more socialist nations in Europe who have a lot of great tax funded support and resources.. also pay far more tax each, including normal not top-5% earners.

Labours lie is that they are telling people they can have what some European nations have, for free.. without paying for it.

I would much rather support a party that said “this is what we believe in, and look, here it is in another nation really working! Let’s all pay a bit more like they do, so that we can make it happen here”.

I think that would actually work to some degree. People don’t trust politicians any more and we crave honesty these days. A Labour Party that was honest and said that you would need to pay for it, would be a radical and quite amazing thing. Maybe the next leader will realise this.

You mean like when the tories promised countries would be queuing for a trade deal after Brexit? I don't see any queues and I don't see Brexit happening anytime soon either.

Not gonna argue with you but it doesn’t invalidate my perspective either.

At least he's actually imagining a better world even if it can't be achieved. The tories are offering probably more austerity and essentially working until we die. They're not going to do anything about climate change or the ever present threat that nuclear weapons pose. It's more of the same. Personally I'd rather try for a better world instead of accepting the status quo. Even if it can't be achieved, at least we tried.

That’s all well and good and that’s what we are all hoping to do but if trying for a so called better world means having to resort to fantasy’s perpetuated by Labour then that’s no measure of any real effort.

I read your comment using my best Jordan Peterson impression. Well said

I forgot two further observations: 1> How do you tell when a politician is lying?? a: His (Her) lips are moving! 2> How do you tell when a politician is stealing your money?? a: His (Her) fingers are moving!
