does the attachment ask for anything like bank details, if so there might just be a phishing email without an actual virus, if not most computers have a way to scan your computer for viruses, if you're on windows search virus and threat protection in settings then click on scan options followed by full scan

edit: i forgot your on iphone, apple is generally ok with antivirus, but i dont own one so i dont know what you can do

Like the person above said, your phone might have a virus scanner so you can check/remove any virus. If not then you can probably find one on the app store, you may have to pay a few quid though

Download a mobile malware app like Malwarebytes and turn your WiFi off for now.

Let the app run a scan and check for viruses, it should be fine if it doesn't pick anything up.
