Hi, hope someone can help answer my question.

I have been trying and trying to work out what my overall mark for a 15 credit module with a final score of 58. Does anyone know how to calculate this?

58% was the final result.
I got 60% in my 20 coursework.
And 58% in my exam.

So what is it that you’re trying to work out?

I'm trying to figure whether I got a 2:2 in the 15 credit module or a 2:1 in it.

It’s a 58 - that’s a 2:2 mark.
It doesn’t matter how many credits it’s worth in the individual module mark.
That only comes into play when you put all of your modules together.

So is 58 the module mark? Or just your exam mark?

Hello!

I would recommend emailing your University's Study Support team who an offer you some academic advice and help you with how that module will be graded. You can also contact your personal tutor who can offer some help  They can also let you know how your final overall year grade will be calculated. For me, my lowest scoring module was always removed from the overall grade, which really helped boost my final grade!

Hope this helps  Sam- Official Student Rep
Hi there,

I hope you are well

It may differ with different University's - so I recommend that you message your personal tutors / head of department to clarify. This is so you know that it's definitely right!
