Hi! Currently in Year 13 studying OCR alevel geography :smile:

I would say that it is a great subject to take, as the majority of topics are quite interesting. Be aware though.... there is a lot of content. I have 8 case studies for one sub topic, and maybe around 25+ case studies overall. There are a lot of essays too, such as 33 markers (but this might vary amongst different exam boards).

Really great complementary subject alongside economics, as most of the subjects relate (i.e. globalisation, structural/cyclical unemployment, government intervention...etc).

Coursework in geography too is quite enjoyable as you can research into a field of your interest (as long as it relates to some part of the specification).
