Highest employment rate in society means jack all when the figures consist of people working 3 hours a week. Lets give everybody a zero hour contract, pay them £1 an hour and give them 1 hour work a week...

Oh look every single person in the country is EMPLOYED WE MUST BE DOING AMAZING RIGHT!

You are either ignorant or immoral and deceitful.. neither is good
Just under two percent of the working population are on zero hour contracts.of those 2/3 are happy with them.

That means that less than 1% of the UK workforce are on unhappy at the zero hour vontract they're on.

99+% of the eutjfurve have managed not to have a zero hour contract that they're unhappy with.

Well it would help if you would tell me instead of using hyperbole, and yes I am calling it that until you give something rational and specific.

Agreed.

It seems to be a standard labour tactic.

Default setting doom and gloom.

You could try wiki.

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zero-hour_contract

Or the bbc.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-23573442

Basically, labour has made an issue out of a non issue.

Thats interesting but im not a labour supporter chaps, they are terrible. Just a man who is not willing to be silent whilst the sick and disabled are callously killed off and treated like jews in WW2

Anyway bringing you both together is the article below. It explains how the tories manipulate the employment figures at the expense of the disabled. Seems perfect given the discussion

Ok I understand. The tories came to power began assessing everybody who is on a benefit because they are unfit to work. They employed a private company paying them hundreds of millions (ATOS) and began sanctioning like 95% of the claimants deeming them fit to work so they could save money. Hundreds of thousands of severely ill people treated like cattle and kicked to the curb often dying weeks later after having their money stopped and being found fit for work. Many commit suicide.

Around 60% of these decisions get overturned by independent tribunals, a staggering amount yet claimaints dont get paid waiting for the tribunal hearing and it can take up to two years.....
Did you know we the UK are the first country to be investigated by the UN for disabilty rights violations?

I could link articles all day but if you genuinely want to understand just what they have done, just google ATOS DWP disability sanctions etc and read up from people who work in DWP / ATOS / CLAIMANTS / SOCIAL WORKERS

Only the ignorant or immoral would want the conservatives to stay in power

I think the point where he compared the Tory party to a '40s concentration camp is the part where he should not be dignified with a response.

These investigations are conducted “confidentially”, so the UN’s Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) – which is carrying out the inquiry – has refused to confirm or deny that the UK is being investigated

I do know what the government has done, I also know what the Nazi party has done. The point at which you compared one to the other was the point at which you lost the right to be taken seriously. I can discus the flaws of the tories, and the bigger flaws of Labour, but not if you come out with this overemotional garbage. Millions of Jews were systematically exterminated under a brutal totalitarian dictatorship, we are talking about a gassing and forced euthanizing of double the population of Manchester. For Christ sake, if 6 million people were being exterminated in the UK, we would know about it, or be so obviously under a north korean style regime that we couldn't know. Just utter crap.
