maybe they are saving the worst till last

{runs away crying}
That's almost certainly untrue, don't worry. I imagine they're just taking there time deliberating, and there's no point in worrying about it as it's in their hands.

Doesn't it just mean that they haven't got round to actually officially rejecting your application yet? But they're going to anyway...

Guys chill. Most applicants won't hear from UCL until well into the new year, be it good or bad, and whether you got 5,5,9 in the BMAT or not. Your applications have all been submitted and there's nothing you can do to change them or the decisions that will eventually be made, so just concentrate on getting excellent January module results.

There are 2700 applicants or so. There are a maximum of 330 places, and about 550 offers, so most applicants will be rejected, whatever their BMAT score.

Check out what SW wrote, going by the speed at which they gave 5, 5, 9 interviews I would be more than confident in saying they would easily have done all the rejections in no time if indeed they were rejections. They're thinking

Maybe they haven't yet seen everyone's applications, so when they do come across them, they reject automatically....

Cape! You draw yourself in a downward spiral way too much. If we both honestly ask ourselves we simply to not know, but I believe it to be hugely likely that they are just looking at and thinking about the applications. If what you say is true and they haven't yet seen everyone's applications then that means they haven't rejected you yet! Stay positive, there's no use in worrying about it.

sorry i didnt mean to come across as naive/unaware of the competition... maybe just typed that in too much of a hurryy...just scared i'll not even be called to interview due to a low score...

just thought id try and settle my own nerves by seeking some advice, but i guess your guess is as good as mine, and i probably just wasted your time. :o:

sorry!

I called them. I mean the average of everyone's scores, not UCL's threshold. If anything, you should be fine BMAT and UCL wise.
what's this year's average?
