obviously they've undergone quite a lot of steriod use to get to that though. you wouldn't look like them till at least a few years in surely, and they've probably had plastic surgery as well, to lop off the boobs and change their face shape.

Yes, they are likely to have been on hormones for a long time.. Now yes, I know that if they are on sustanon, then that is the steroids that body-builders take, however, FtMs will only take enough to have the same level as cismales (cis = non-trans). It is a life-long medication. The second one (Balian Buschbaum) only started transitioning xmas day 2007, and I don't know when that picture was taken. It's been around for quite a while though - so he hasn't been on hormones for that long!

They will all probably have had surgery to get rid of the breasts, but I doubt that a single one of them has had surgery on their face.
Feminisation Facial Surgery (FFS) exists for MtFs. There is no equivalent for the FtMs. They look male enough as it is, so why bother.

it just seems odd seeing them because they do like like men but i can't imagine them ever looking like women with those faces, they must have been ugly women :s-smilie:

), there's no masculinizing surgery for FtMs beyond mastectomies and phalloplasty/medoidioplasty (chest/penis surgeries).

As far as I know, about 4-5 months into hormone replacement therapy an FtM will look (and sound) incredibly masculine. This varies from guy to guy, but for the most part, by the end of the first year on testosterone they look no different from any other bloke with their clothes/binders and this includes body and facial hair.

can I point out aswell, that these are obviously only a small, small amount of examples so if you (the people who reckon ftms would only look like butch lesbians) are still unwilling to accept that ftms can and almost always look like males assigned at birth, then can I suggest that you google successful transmen? It's quite amazing (and reassuring) how masculine ftms can look after hormones and top surgery. (Remember that there are also effeminate ftms out there, just as there are feminine bio born guys.
