Turn the kettle on Get a mug out of the cupboard Put a tea bag in the mug Pour the hot water into the mug Put the milk in the mug Leave the tea bag in to brew for about 7 minutes Et voilà
It has to be real leaves - go for a specialist tea maker - you would not believe the difference. I was told that tea bags use the sweepings off the floor.
Use a teapot with a strainer in it - freshly drawn water boiled and left to rest for 30 seconds before pouring onto the tea. Leave for 3 minutes and drink
If using a tea bag then it's bag first, then water, remove bag, add milk and stir. For leaf tea, then it's loose leaves into pot, add water, pour into cup (via tea strainer) before adding milk and stirring. Do not ruin it with sugar.
Same, Am tempted to try the microwaving hot milk idea i read on page 1 though...
Only 30 seconds? Not a fan of strong tea? Milk afterwards is the correct way though.
In the coffeemaker, I add milk in first, but that's coffee and not tea. YOu can make tea in there though.... Just gives it a bit of extra "cream" if you add the milk in first
