21 in October?

Good Morning,

I'll be turning 21 in October, which would make eligible for entry as a mature student, but would I have to wait for the 2011/2012 entry as my birthday will be after the September start or would I able to apply in the 2010/2010 entry?

I think you'd have to speak to each individual uni that you want to apply to and see what they say.

Explain to them why you want to be allowed etc.

I have heard though that even some of the ****** unis are quite strict in regards to mature students/age limits etc.

But only way to find out is to contact each one.

Usually you are classed as a mature student if you are 21 on or before the start date of your course, so if your course starts in September (or up to the day before your birthday in October) you won't be a mature student.

You won't be classed as a mature student, you would have to wait another year... although it makes no difference, nobody other then you and the people you tell will know you're a mature student.
