Help!! my A2 exams are this month but i cant take them can i resit

Basically last Thursday my nan passed away. It was quite sudden even tho shes been ill and i was more than close to her ....i am heartbroken but i havent even started to grieve yet ..her funeral is next wednesday and so is 1 of my exams... There is no way i can take the exam and dont need the pressure my heads too gone and to be honest i feel like i couldnt cope with them ...everyone has agreed for me not to take them and to re-sit as i need time to grieve too.
I did well in my AS ones and grades were aabb ...ill fail the A2 without a doubt and i cant try theres no point im not being silly or underestimating myself so just take it that i am not doing them.....
am i gne be able to re-sit them in january ??

You can apply for special circumstances and get extra marks in the exam... I don't know if someone passing away is reason enough not to attend though. If you have offers from universities, normally in situations like this they are willing to allow you to defer and take the exams again in your gap year to meet your offer.
