Nope. I imagine we'll get them after the 15th.

Which one do you think has a high cut off - Kings or Barts?

I got 670 UKCAT and I'm going for Dentistry.

If you have low GCSE's, Kings.

If you have high GCSE's, Barts.

That's not considered extremely high, no. I found the information out from the prospectuses. :p:

Barts use an absolute cutoff of around ~670.

Kings use a sliding scale of your UKCAT score and GCSE's. If you have a low UKCAT, high GCSE's will compensate and vice versa.

Therefore, for example, if a person has 12 A* but only a 600~ UKCAT, they would reach the cutoff for kings, but not for Barts.

I thought it was 665 last year?
Gosh, you know i have a feeling it might be higher than 690 this year. fml.

Yeh I couldn't remember the exact figure, sorry. Knew it was around 665ish. :p:

By all accounts it will probably stay the same or decrease this year. Don't worry!

Miles End at Barts

I aint livin' in no slum. :noway:

there are a couple of good points about mile end, but the rooms are SO pokey and small, at dawson they are massive
and as medicineman has mentioned, charterhouse square is in the city of london, the immediate courtyard overlooks listed buildings

i love the kitchens at mile end, went there on monday, massive floor-ceiling windows, with a pretty nice view

the cut-off will obviously change with the scores admissions receive (who decides to apply/not)
and the amount of students they want to give offers to

No, this is for medicine. I assume dentistry is similar, but you'll have to check up yourself.

Do Barts use dissection or prosection? All I can find in the prospectus is a SSM of dissection.

I've already picked my accommodation at every one of my universities!

Miles End at Barts
Broadgate/L&W at Nottingham
Castle Court at Newcastle
Endcliffe Village at Sheffield

Dawson is in a MUCH nicer area than Mile End.
