Hello all

.

Is getting a certain class of degree based on marks, or preforming better than everyone else?

For example, to get a first would you need to get so many marks, or finish in the top 10% of your class?

70 + is a 1st,
60-70% is a 2.1,
50-60 is a 2.2,
40-50 is a 3rd
below that is a fail

Yea thats right, but they but they divide them into:
A1 = 90
A2 = 80
A3 = 70
B1 = 67
B2 = 64
B3 = 60
C1 = 57
C2 = 54
C3 = 50

You get the idea

hello everyone.

I'm just going into my final year (of a four year course) at Notts Trent. I study International Business and have been to Chicago for my placement year this year.

by the sounds of some of your messages there is a lot of anxiety about going to uni, and everyone seems to be a bit stressed out! well i know its easy for me to say because i would be lying if i told you i wasn't worried before i started uni, but in my experience and especially on my course, everything is organised very well and notts trent staff are very supportive.
