Med school application info

Hi

I am hoping someone out there is, or knows someone else, who can advise me as an older than usual applicant choosing to embark on a new career direction - in medicine. I am hoping someone out there already knows all the answers :

which unis are most likely to accept applications from older students?

anywhere in the public domain that offers advice for mature students to help with application processes?

which uni's offers flexible study (bearing in mind the amount of responsibilities older people have - eg children and poss other career or company responsibiliites ongoing) - obviously open universtity does not offer clinical medical degrees.

cost - if already a postgrad from several years ago, do we received funding (assume have to pay the uni's annual fees but do we have to pay more or less?)

which uni's offer a 4 year med degree rather than 6 year. or any other fast-track courses?

just in case anyone out there has all the answers before I delve into a world of research!

thanks

Polly
