What does 'points' mean on my results sheet?

It can't be because I got 210 for my C. Is it the UMS boundary for the grade below?

I think it is the number of points the school gets for their league table position - so it doesn't really mean much to the student.

I think it is referring to this stuff:-


If that is what it is, we just need someone to explain why some sick mind somewhere created a new points scheme for the league tables, and why they didn't just use the UCAS tariff scheme :confused:

For an educational department proposing a heavily numerical formula, I find it ironic that every page is marked as page 8. However, if you ignore that, GCSEs are on page 3 and A levels are on page 5.
