Love this thread. I thought i was the only one that loved stationary this much, glad i'm not alone in this.
Can anyone give me an idea of what kind of things I'll need for starting uni?
I'm thinking:

Planner (Can anyone recommend a good one?)
Pens
Coloured Pens
Book for notes (what do people normally use?)

Anything else? Can't think and I'm writing lists :awesome:

It's an essay/written based course so that wont be needed!

Yeah I'll probably have 1 notebook per module, is that standard?

Thanks:biggrin:

I think its pretty evenly split between people who have notebooks per module and people who write in one book then have some sort of filing system.
I just bought a new Filofax D: red Pocket Chameleon, my friend has it in Mini and it's lovely. The main benefits why I'm buying this one is that it has a zip pocket and a wallet pocket, and as I use my Filofax as a purse this is very helpful.

I wanted a red Personal Chameleon but they were out of stock - ended up with a Metropol Personal in Raspberry. Filofax's website's holding 20% off offers at the moment with code JULYTREAT, which was a bonus

I love summer, it's stationary season!
Just bought a filofax for starting uni, a personal domino  Was tempted to buy a finsbury but wanted one that lay flat and thought the elastic band would give me a little extra room to expand it if it got full.
Bought some coloured paper and extra coloured dividers to go with it, can't wait to get customising it (I am such a saddo )
PS Filofax are offering free delivery if you enter in SHIP12 in the promo box.
Can I join the thread as a specialist/advisor? I work in Ryman the Stationer

I should definitely be on this forum! Im obsessed with stationary and organising! Files are my life, I just put everything in files! I'm really weird about this hahaha i think I'm getting my own stationary from home with me to Uni, don't think I'll find comfy spirals or the plastic coloured dividers for my files! It's really cute to Find others who have same obsession and are somehow OCD about this #weirdos

I recommend Paperchase's range of paper and zip pockets and so on
I have a £20 gift card for WHSmiths that I plan on using to kit myself out with for third year with that in September :teeth: I literally can not wait to get into there to buy things.

I managed to use JULYTREAT, think I might have caught one of the last days. Now, what pen to store in it?

I use the Muji erasable pens. They're £2 each but they're really good.
