The Student Room Group
idk but eharmony sounds the most legit
A lot of these websites are linked together, so you could join one where you wish to meet, for example, mature, black ladies, and you'd be able to view profiles of both mature black ladies, mature white ladies, young ladies, old ladies...

Personally, I think any website that advertises on a porn site with several profile pictures of supposed members and usernames like "sexmad", "gaping_granny" and "analdelight" are not 100% legit.
A lot of them are fake. They detect your location and the adverts usually say something like - 'Have no-strings sex tonight in Bradford!' (or wherever the hell you live near). They'll as said have lot of profile pictures of supposed members. The images would have probably being pulled from various porn sites.

I can tell you from experience that these websites promising NSA sex and easy meet-ups are all the same - complete and utter ****. You couldn't ask for anything more fake than websites like the ones I've used.

Here's the story: I haven't been in a sexual relationship for about 3 years and I was getting desperate. So I had a look around a few places and chose websites that I could pay for without a credit card. They all charge the same price (£10 for 4-5 weeks, which is pretty reasonable) so I thought I'd give them all a go. I paid £40 to use 4 websites and I didn't get ANY sufficient replies whatsoever. Just fluff.

If a woman somehow sent me a message, it would always be fake (with lines such as "I'm looking for fun, let me know if you are too") or the question that really ***** me off: "Do you want to chat?". I paid £10 for each website and all I got was automated messages full of **** or stupid women wanting to chat. What really got under my skin was the fact that, even if I replied to a genuine woman who just wanted to chat, I would get no reply.

The women who use these dating sites are either fakes or so full of themselves that they don't have the common courtesy to reply to messages they receive. The websites are supposedly designed for people to find someone they like and meet up for sex as soon as possible, but people abuse it so badly that it spoils the experience for the rest of us.

I used those websites for about 1 month and then gave up. Went and had sex with an escort instead - so much more expensive but definitely worth it!

PS. Cue the neg reps!

The ones which advertise on porn sites are full of fake profiles. I know someone who went on the site you put - nostringsdating.net and think he had some success.

I'm not a member of any, purely out of curiosity - I was discussing these sort of sites with my housemates which offer casual encounters/nsa sex, like nostringsdating.net etc. They said alot of the female profiles on there are fake designed to get you to pay up for full membership. Is that the case? So many programmes on TV now mention these sites.

If it's too good to be true, it probably is.

Hot women messaging you for sex is obviously fake. That never happens. It's a way for these websites to get you to pay, so you can reply to these so called "women" who don't even exist. A scam.

While the websites themselves may not be 100% scam (there MAY be one or two women actually looking for sex) the vast majority are fake profiles/escorts and the like. If you've actually paid to sign up I think you'd be wasting your money.

My Dad met my step mum through a dating site so they do work
But they can be really expensive.

I think he was talking only about the "no strings attached" or "adult" websites that advertise ppl looking for sex

Unless your parents met there? If so I'm not judging:redface:

YES guys they are all fake sites these sex sites when you put your profile on a site within minutes you are starting to get so called messages that are suppose to be from women wanting to meet you .and as soon as you try to reply to them up pops a page saying pay by credit card .some sites allow you to send just one message then once you've sent the message it says you've no more credits .and the one add you did reply to it did not go to any member on their site but would of gone straight to the site owners and its them contacting you back making you think you got a reply back CON CON CON this is total internet scam to rip people off .and never use your credit card beacuse if say you joined for a month they keep your card details and once your month is up they will charge you again without even informing you ,,ive not been sucked in by any of these sites but know of people who have

Hi just came across this post and just wanted to say that the sites do have some genuine people... Over a year ago when I first started Uni I went through a very promiscuous stage where all I wanted to do was have sex... I can't across nostringsdating.net.... I ended up meeting with about 13 people and sleeping with 11 of them.... Although there are a lot of fake profiles there are some real people on there if you're lucky

In terms of replying to messages I think there significantly a lot more women than men on these sites and from my experience my inbox was always flooded... I got to a point where I deleted my photos to reduce the amount of messages I would receive and would only speak to people I had instigated a conversation with... So yeah just came across the post and wanted to defend the website a little bit lol
