Newcastle or Manchester
Hey guys,
Sorry to create another 'this uni or that' thread, but I really need help :-P
In terms of the course, I think I would enjoy Manchester's PBL course more than Newcastle's integrated course. Also, I am very self-motivated and at the moment in A levels don't take as much from lessons as I do reading books and doing my own research in terms of learning! However, I am still worried that PBL will leave me less knowledgable and with gaps in my knowledge at the end of my degree! I'm not sure though, will it leave me with gaps because it isn't as regimented as a more lecture based approach, or will it actually benefit someone like me who enjoys doing their own work rather than sitting in on lectures?
