Overseas's Elective

I'm a 5th year medical student in New Zealand planning my 8 week oversea's elective for next year around July/August. A classmate and I had thought about going to Spain for ours. Was just wondering if anyone had done anything similar or had any advice or even had a better idea? We were quite keen on Europe, being a part of the world we haven't travelled to before. Thanks.

Yeah its pretty easy to set up, just decide which area of England or Europe you'd like to go to and then just email hospitals. I know some people who are in Malta, Switzerland, Ireland, Birmingham & London-UK etc so its not too hard. I definitely know the University Hospital Birmingham take international students as we met a few students from Germany on their elective.
