Can anyone explain the whole blastocyst stem cell thing?
I know what a blastocyst is but i cant remember much else.

Thanks in advance

fertilised egg allowed to grow for a dew days
forms a blastocyst
cells in inner cell mass are pluripotent

Yeah I know - huge increase over the years from 52 marks for an A in 2009 (65%) to 64 in Jan 2012 (80%) o_O

Anyone know why? Don't think they've got easier, though haven't done 2012 paper yet...

i think its because people who did the exams in 09/10 didn't have many past papers to practice from.. Still though that shouldnt account for a 15% increase -_-
