Ive just comneoutnof a 5 year relationship, he cheated on me. Been single a few month and I am happy most of the time. I want to enjoy life and travel too but all my mates are always skint, I am planning on getting another part time job to meet new friends. Bur my advise is enjoy being single because being in a serious relationship does tie you down

21, single, pretty much never had a relationship and still have the v plates. Doesn't help I'm shy as.
23, had a couple of relationships but I'm happier being single right now. Maybe in a few years I'll take life a little more seriously and conform to the stress of getting married and all that but I'm just not that fussed as my life stands currently.
Then again I'm one of those deep thinking yet short-fused people that needs a lot of personal space. I'm better off in a position where I can just escape from everyone when I need to chill out, something its much harder to do in a relationship.

I broke-up with my last boyfriend in December while dealing with a sexual harrassment/blackmailing issue with an ex (I had to get some higher ups involved and it was only resolved a few weeks ago) - I couldn't really bring myself to be close to anyone when I was dealing with that. :/ I met a new guy this month who has asked me on a date and I've said yes. Whether or not anything comes of it is still to be seen - but for now I just want to have fun and meet new people. :]
