Special educational needs assistant qualifications

Hi,

I am in my first year of A levels. I have my 4 subjects and all my GCSE's A* - C.

I want to be a Special Needs assistant in the future in a school.

The University course I will take is "Special Educational Needs & Inclusion BA Hons". I will also have an A level in "Health & Social Care".

So is this the correct Uni course to take to become a special needs assistant in a primary, secondary or specific special school?

Would I be able to apply for a "Special Needs Assistant" in a school with a degree in 'Special Educational Needs and Inclusion BA Hons" and with an A level "Health & Social Care" ?????
