saw some horrific form on the bench press today

skinny dude, with a moderate dude spotting

50kg in total (I left the weights on), and the bar is tilting towards one side as the bar is going down, and lifting it back up was a near possibility.

basically two handed dumbbell curl

absolutely useless

Why didn't you put your weights away?

Ya, everyone does, because it weighs something.

Unless you have a new 0kg bar?

I mean to say, do you write that as 90kg x 5/5/5 or say, 70kg (+20kg bar) x 5/5/5..

Sorry if I sound retarded.

why oats wouldn't weatabix be a better option ?
also I'm watching the thread nice to see people on tsr caring about staying fit
Why do you do 5 reps a set?

Are you solely trying to build strength?

It's part of the program called Ice cream fitness.

Apparently, it's a balance between gaining strength, and hypertrophy as a complete newbie.

Please excuse the varying lights, angles etc. I've basically lost 0.5kg net in the last 3 months... mainly due to putting on 2kg over Christmas haha.

Yeah I went a bit overboard with the bulk haha; was 69kg in December 2012. I've not come close to matching the strength gains I made then though.. </3

more gains coming tomorrow
102.5kg deadlift

oh god, forgot about the 97.5kg squat

oh, I forgot to say, when I have OHP, I've decided to do it first, then do squats.
