Sixth Forms?

Dos it really matter what Sixth Form you go to? Or is it the grads that matter the most?

Grades are important, institution is not. A lot of people will even argue that your university choice isn't important either, until you get to Masters/Doctorate level.

It doesnt really matter which 6th form you go to. It only really matters what grades you get, and what extra curricular stuff you do.
Grades are what matters the most :smile:
It can be beneficial to go to a good institution for sixth form though because of the extra help and support you can get to get those grades

Grades matter the most,
Some may even argue that going to a private school is a hindrance because it is expected that candidates there will achieve A/A*'s, whereas if you were to achieve those grades in a state school that is amazing

Universities do not usually consider the sixth form or college which you go to. It's usually the grade which matters.
However, I have heard that if the grade average of your institution is lower than the national average, they take that into consideration... providing you get the grades required.
