Graphic Design A Level without GCSE?

Hey Guys,

Please move this if this is in the wrong thread.

I'm pretty good at Graphic Design, I have quite good expertise in User Experience/Interface, and I'm pretty good with Photoshop.

For GCSE's I'm currently doing Business Studies, I.T, History, and German. I was actually doing Graphics instead of Business Studies for one point but I wasn't great at drawing so I stopped.

How hard would it be to pick up on Graphics A Level without doing GCSE? And how much pen and paper work is involved? Do you need to be good at drawing on paper because I'm awful at that. If it's just simple lines, etc I should be fine, but with drawing complex curved structures I'm not good at all.

Thanks!
