Not racist, just sensationalist and retarded.
I don't like UKIP, but I'm not going to go around calling them racist for these posters.
no it's not racist.

Out of interest, what others parties are actively against EU membership? I'm against being in the EU, but UKIP disgust me. Some of the their policies are just downright ridiculous and I refuse to vote for them just because I agree with them on one thing, especially as they lie and exaggerate absolutely everything. I'm currently thinking of voting for the Socialist Labour Party in the upcoming European Election, but they got 123 votes in my area during the last general election, so I fear it would be a bit of a wasted vote.

What are the downright ridiculous policies? Just interested.

Not at all. He needs a good fish-slapping really. Odd that it's morons like him screaming racism and stifling proper debate that causes half the frustration and ill-feeling which leads to feelings of marginalisation and alienation in particular segments of society which ultimately leads to, well, UKIP voting.

Wouldn't surprise me if he's influenced a few more. Silly man who should know better.
Typical scaremongering that is all UKIP know.

These posters aren't racist or xenophobic in the slightest. Seems UKIP are taking the economic argument against mass immigration, which is that is drives wages down because of the massive influx of cheap labour.

UKIP possibly may try attempt use the "cultural" argument against immigration, which does have some fair points but it is slightly xenophobic. However even liberals like John Stuart Mill said democracy was only possible if there was shared culture.

Only a political ignoramus would equate overt nationalism with outright racism.

Judging by the number of angry twitter responses, I think he's influenced more to vote UKIP.

Absolutely not.

Those posters certainly aren't racist. Whether you agree with the message or not, raising concerns about the impact of immigration on unemployment is not racist because it is based on concerns which have nothing to do with race.

UKIP deny climate change and aside from their usual complaints about the EU, they also complain about climate and emissions regulations that come from the EU. This is the main thing making me unsure about voting UKIP. Yet their climate change denial is largely ignored.
It's a shame that people have time to throw nonsensical "racism" claims around, but don't give them any real scrutiny in an area where it is most needed - their poor environment policies.

According to Labour MP Mike Gapes, these UKIP campaign posters are racist. Do you agree?

When I heard the furore around their campaign posters, I actually expected far worse. This is quite tame. And, no, I wouldn't say it's racist. Just typically xenophobic from UKIP.

Not racist, but spouting false statistics and nonsense.
No No No No No!

Doesn't seem xenophobic looks like the ads are focused on economic impacts of immigration not the fear of foreigners.

A giant finger with the threat of 'they're going to take your job!' feels pretty fear-inducing to me.
