HEFC Access Course
Can you please tell me what it is? Is it the same level as A levels? I am planning to go to university next year (2007) but I only have one A level and most universities require three A levels. I'm just wondering.. will they accept HEFC access course and one A levelin uni?

I would try and speak to the uni which you would like to apply too, to see what they advise as I know my friend only needed to take 2 HEFC`s, she did have a degree, though it was old
Most people on our HECF course completed the full 3 modules as most of us hadn`t studied for a V. long time. http://northumbria.ac.uk/brochure/courses/hefc/ this link should give you a better idea ( hope it works
) They are simular to A levels, though some people would argue that they are a little easier !!
The access guidence centre is normally very good at telling you the best pathways, I had a wonderful interview with a lady who helped me choose the correct modules.
