I know what you mean Froudy, i brought a really nice dress from River island but i don't know if im ever going to have the chance to wear it. All the partys seem kinda chavvy (porn star, school disco) I want a bloody ball :frown:

There’s a formal graduation ball during graduation week, and I’m pretty sure there are other formal events organised by the SU.

Guys, you really shouldn’t worry about the accommodation offers. As long as you get them before you leave for Swansea, you’ll be fine. The accommodation office have 3,000+ applications to process – so it’s going to take a bit of time.

they are useless! all my friends got theirs on the actual day of results and many before hand, and i still havent got mine, plus all my friends have fresher balls where u can dress up all formal etc whereas ours is to dress up as little naughty school girls..classy :frown:

not that i mind so much but i just wish i had some of the great things my friends are having, my friend going to bath uni, theyre going on a trip to ikea in freshers week to pick up anything they forgot to get! sigh....

lol, that sounds so crap, is that really your idea of the type of "great things" you'd want to do?

To be honest id prefer a ball over a pornstar party and a little school girl party, as it does sound chavvy to me, im actually a fun person and i want to do alot of 'great things' but those two things are not really that great, i dont count the trip to ikea as a fun time just that its a good IDEA as if ive forgotten something and i dont know where to go etc they take you anyway one less worry so thats what i meant wiggles.

I just phoned them to ask for an update and the guy i spoke to said that they'd just done a big batch of allocations and they have to check them before they can actually offer them (or something like that) and i should know within the next two to three days.

I heard him talking to the guy next to him saying something about "it says allocated BUT..." but i didnt manage to catch the "but" part.

Fingers crossed...

I think it's best to phone them to chase them up now. It's starting to take the piss.
