Personally mutlitalented I would do anything which isn't 'man up and hit the gym', which helps to make you you! Whether that is in public or at home for the time being. Simply because I'm sick of the stock response being lift (not that I have anything against lifting, in fact I'm going tomorrow to compensate for a bad day today!)

However anything which isn't sitting around wallowing on a forum may help too
I think the gym might not necessarily be that bad for me actually, improve physique & general fitness (I don't really like the term man up though). I think I just need to meet people with a compatible personality with mine, that would help massively

I know but well I'm worried people will judge me, it's not that easy to overcome. My mind just creates a barrier that I find hard to break down

Hello :hello: how are you/how has your day been?

My day has been long and tiring haha, up from a nap! second day at uni and im all  haha! Start properly on Monday tho! So meh, just meeting new people and all that just now :h: Wbu? How's your day been?

What subject are you studying, you settling in alright, made friends? You live over there or with parents? I've just been inside mainly on the laptop, did some housework earlier & now just watching some football :h:

Did you get the phone numbers of people you talked to/added them or Facebook or something like that yet?

I'm the same really, like I'd find going to a cafe/restaurant or bowling/theme park on my own boring. I'd like it if I was to share my experiences with others. I still think it's better than my current position of spending most of my non-work time at home on the laptop though :erm:

Not yet but there's still a few more before term starts so maybe I'll ask at the next one. I find knowing how to move from acquaintances to friends really hard. :s-smilie: I think I find texting/Facebook more stressful than socialising in real life but I need to get used to it as that's how things work now.

I know what you mean about not wanting to go places on your own because it isn't as fun without people to share/bond over the experience with. I spend loads of time just sat on my own on my laptop so I'm hoping to change that.

Yeah could do that  A bit apprehensive about going alone though, even if I were to meet people I'd be worried I'd get lost or I turn up & no one's there lol :erm:

This. So much. Everytime I meet up with my friends this is what goes through my mind "what if I get there and nobody else shows up and they've pranked me" or something similar.

OT: Hi.
