Imaginary cats, schmats. It's all about giving agro to Tit Hall after they threw the real Clare College Cat (Scipio) into the Cam. Poor Scipio, he was never the same again and had to retire to the country thus depriving my year of cat-based affection. :frown:

an amazing amazing first term at cambs- havent been on TSR for a wee while now but i just wanna also thank everyone who was so awesome when during applications etc., i (like many others) had their eyes glued to TSR, asked what now seem like obvious questions and other such malarky- i was always given a friendly answer and support from TSR, and even have met a couple in person now - happy days, i will try be around more for the interviewees etc. coming up now as to give them the same lovely warm TSR experience i was

I think it is referring to that... cos I mean, how can you be a quantumn physicists without setting radioactive timers to poison cats? it's a paradox!

You know I don't even know why I have it on there... being an engineer and all. I say stick to building them jaw dropping aeroplanes and stop worrying about how they'll behave at the speed of light in an infinite number of eleven-dimensional parallel universes.
Have you considered the geriatric forces on these aeroplanes and how to cater for them?

they wont reach the speed of light so its quite pointless to consider how they behave at that speed like considering what a female orgasim is like being male :frown:, and the 3 dimensional plane will never fit into the other 6 or so dimensions in calibu-yau type shapes.:s-smilie:
Hmmm...

One of my friends, a physicist at Imperial, showed me this proof earlier... it was that if you could possibly stand a pencil on its point, the longest it could ever stand for would be 4 seconds. Quantum physics and stuff...

that depends though of course, unless you are making some rash asumptions

I'm going on the 6th. Have my room from then, so why not? I can row, do my work more easily and see anyone who is back.

Ah, but I adapted and specialised it. My novel criticism was both highly interesting and unusually perceptive

Good man!

Tho' it's all about joining a town club so you can cox during the holidays and get more coxing during term!

Personally, back on the 5th after a week's rowing camp on the Thames. Next term expect my posts to be littered with, "This one time, at rowing camp..." :p:

I'm back on the 5th, for a variety of reasons, but mainly in order to use the library. Or libraries. So I'll be stuck with the boaties for more than a week.

Back on the 15th - Boaties can boat away and do boatie boatie things for all I care, I'm sure they will

Are you keeping up with rowing? I haven't seen an ergo for over three weeks! (or any heavy physical exertion, for that matter) I'm thinking Thom may be less than impressed with my fitness when we get back...
