Anything could come up I guess; though I'm not sure why but all my teachers think either D-Day or NHS. NHS hasn't come up before and since this is the last year with this spec, it would make sense. What do you think?
Reply 2
i think government response orNHS too, but d-day landings have already come up
Reply 3
can they repeat the same topics again

The Blitz has never come up, except as a sample paper made by Edexcel. This may mean it will not come up

What's that about?

What's that about?

Heres everything you need to know about it. They were used by the Germans.

V1:
The V1 was a flying missile made by the Germans
It was driven by a motor that was supposed to cut out over the target
The first V1s were lauched on 12 June 1944
Many failed to reach their target or even explode but managed to kill 6000 people
Became known as the 'Doodle bug' because of the sound it made.
It is a bomb that doesn't need a pilot

V2:
Launched in september
It was rocket-powered, so was faster and could go higher
5000 launched, only 1000 reached Britain killing about 2700 people.
Made no sound and supersonic
There was no defense against it
Was a guided missile-knew where it was going
Heard the explosion before hearing the missile coming
The missiles were too little to late to change the outcome of the war

The significance of them were that they were the first supersonic bombs.
They were very effective in scaring people and causing damage; they were very powerful, but didn't stop the British fighting.

That's everything about it that I know, but I don't think this will come up anyways.
