Cambridge Economics - Help an Irish student out!

Hi guys,

I'm an Irish Student looking to apply to Cambridge for 2016 and to read Economics ( College undecided as of yet ).

My Junior Certificate results were 10 A's and 1 B.
Will any other results be required?

I have done well in Maths and my teacher has predicted an A1 but my 5th Year exams ( the one's just gone by) do not quite reflect that ( I was quite sick, 2 hospital visits, missed a good bit), still a high B/Low A average though. This has also been sorted out with multiple additional maths throughout the summer and for this following year organised etc.

I was looking for advice, what exam results will they need? Where would you consider applying to college wise? any other tips

Thanks

I should probably add;

I'm Deputy Head Boy, have represented my school in both Economics and Maths and have come top 10 in a National Maths Competiton out of a couple thousand. I was Rugby Captain for 2 Years and have work Experience with Ernst & Young and McKinsey.

Any help at all, thanks

Hi, thanks yeah I've seen all that and put a good bit of research in, still undecided college wise where I want to apply.

I was wondering if they need 5th Year Exam Results and what weight they put on these results? I can't for the life of me find reference to it anywhere and any help pointing me in the right direction would be gratefully received.

They will need your Junior Cert and any other public exams.

Maybe ask the Fitz SLO here

Do you know if they only require state exams results and predictions or do they also require exams I have done in school ( I have only currently done one set of state exams and will only have them and my predicted results at time of application )

Only public (state) exams have to be reported. But your referee could mention internal exams and predictions.
