In the course description for Accounting and Finance at LSE it says that the course is, "generally academic rather than vocational in nature and statements should reflect this".
What does it mean by academic rather than vocational and how could I reflect this in my personal statement?

It'll be referring to theory, a lot of theory rather than applying it to real life companies and case studies. So it's all about research into accounting & finance and the methods applied within the industrys you are studying rather than where companies are up to...i guess
