Milk or water first?

I always put the milk in first. It makes the teabag nice'n'milky

Well if you read the thread, youll see that some people put milk first.

Not such a dumb question really.
Apparently, you should put milk in first if you're using fine china or delicate teacups, and generally if you're using a teapot. It makes it less likely for the cup to break with the sudden change in temperature.

However, I personally use a mug and a kettle so I obviously put the water in first (but only after putting the teabag and sugar in so the sugar can dissolve properly). But that's just how I do it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

What a question...
Water
Teabag and sugar in mug then add hot water.
Stir, squeeze the teabag on the sides then remove.
Add milk and stir again.
Depends on the tea, the time, my mood, mug or pot.

Generally, milk in last so there is no danger of it being the ultimate sin. A discoloured lukewarm milk in a mug.
Tea bag, then add water, then add sugar and mix to make it lovely and strong. Finally you add whole milk, because skimmed and semi tasks like ****.

With that you have a fantastic cup of tea, as long as it's strong with a little bit of milk.

To be fair I sometimes like black tea as well.
