How wealthy do you need to be to vote conservative?

The question is, how wealthy do you have to be to benefit from Conservative policies?

London-based bankers and offshored nondom traders and hedge fund managers appear to be the main beneficiaries. All Tory policies are geared to their interests and their interests alone.

That's about 10-20 thousand people out of a population of 65m.

Don't forget old retirees who have millions stored in stocks :smile:

The new economy shafts a lot of pensioners too, as it keeps interest rates rock bottom, hence even income from things like trust funds are very restrained, although it is true as you say that people deriving income from equity growth have done well with the government's asset bubbles over the last few years.

I reckon a personal income of maybe over £30,000 a year- to vote for them for economical reasons.But other than money anyone can vote for anyone

So today we find out that ex Tory MPs; Tory lords and Tory donors have links with the Panama tax avoidance law firm.

We also found out that Cameron's own family used the tax haven. Corrupt,the lot of them.

Indeed, there are countless folk who benefited directly from new labour and a supportive welfare state which hoisted them up, yet then they wish to draw the ladder up after themselves so others can't have the same opportunities they did. They're the worst kind.

Well considering the fact that the conservatives in England are as liberal as the democrats in America. I would say minimum wage is how wealthy you have to be to vote for the conservatives. :colondollar:
